Please advise, I want to grow my cd collection of albums over the past 10 years of listening, and realize that the best way to remember them when I get older and decrepit is if i have some nice hard-copies on a shelf.

Discogs and Ebay are my two top choices. Also Amazon, then Gemm is a distant fourth. Once in a while I might get a rare CD from some odd website (once I even learned to translate from English to Polish), but nothing else with a reasonable selection and reputation.
I must add that I have been ed over on Gemm several times, and I try to avoid it like the plague. |

Both. Discogs is a very fantastic website for music collectors and for music reference. Without it I don't think I'd have a music collection like I do now. I am on it almost every day. |

But I was under the impression that Discogs was more of a private sale, where the buyer would pm the seller and do an exchange.
Are there any safeguards in place like buyer protection on ebay ? |
