A few of my pals started this magazine about a year ago. They're on frequency 3 and launched the mag's website on monday. It's VERY VERY offical, or rather, very very gradient.
check it out

culture, design, art, culinary, fashion, events (EDM)... but not what you'd expect

I think the magazine is located mostly in the Bowery/Soho area, although last summer I dropped off a ton of copies at a bunch of boutiques in Chelsea between 14th and 20th. Oh, and at some private jet company, i dunno. But yeah, you can find it if you go shopping in those areas or if you subscribe.

I guess they could always use extra interns. It's just all about what kind of asset you could be for the mag. Probably your best bet is to send a resume to one of the emails from the website and just put that you heard about the mag on trance addict from me. that way they'll know ur not completely random.

Thanks for the feedback everyone!

One more thing, the content on the site is updated about 3-5 times a day, so there are ALWAYS new things to check out on the site.

I've worked with a bunch of similar magazines driving similar content. It sounds as if they are solely a retail magazine (as opposed to a subscription?)? If they are a subscription, then the circulation becomes a relevant number in terms of selling ad-space.

I've worked with SoleCollector, Hypebeast.com, and a bunch of "boutique-esque" retailers in the same content line as Gradient Publication. I've seen this pub around as well, although not at the top of my eye-catcher, it's been viewed!

I wouldn't so much as go for dumping my resume off to an email box, but rather would enjoy the conversation with the Senior Publisher and Branding Director. I come from a professional publishing house with experience in gloss. I'll read more into said company, but a first hand introduction works well if possible. Should be pm'd but figured it's relevant to those interested working in the "hipster" culture.

Speaking of hiring, are they hiring ppl to create video content? I used to work for a magazine like this doing videos.
