Hi guys, just wondering if this interface performs well with Live/Logic etc for production use. I'm currently using an M-audio Audiophile 2496 which I can get rid of if this will do the job. |

I used the inputs of the audio4 to record a set and then play it back through the audio4 outputs. Sounds pretty good. I think the max is 24bit / 96khz
Only thing is.....if you start using long ass cables you might get interference since RCA cables are not balanced. I guess if you keep the cables under 6 - 10 ft ... it will stay pretty clean. |

Works great for production, don't recommend for mixes. As stated above interference runs pretty rampant when using these boxes. Haven't figured out why, maybe it being usb? |

Thanks for the replies. I'll have to test the Audio 4 on my own setup and see if I get much feedback. I did notice a ground on the back of the Audio 4 which is for grounding turntables but I have a trick that's worked in the past with two mixers..
One of the mixers was picking up some feedback so I tried grounding the two mixers to each other and it fixed the problem.
I'm wondering if this will work with the Audio 4 and an external mixer.
Maybe one of you could give it a try..:) |
