| I'm thinking of selling my iphone 8gig, jail broken with free app downlaod software to get any app from the app store for free. I want to get some money towards maybe upgrading to the 3GS. The thing to remeber is i would sell this term free. What a fair price to ask ? |

This sounds like a indirect way of selling your phone. Not directly selling but hovering around the thought of selling your phone. LOL
Check HowardForums.com > Buy/Sell/Trade sections
Redflagdeals.com > Phones+comuunications section
You'll see what other peeps are selling theirs for. |

I am looking for one. Here are recent posts from the iPhone thread:

My venture into an iPhone clone went to sh!t. The M89 I got was very buggy, and bricked itself. As it was my replacement for the first one who didn't recharge, my craigslist dealer, Jay (easily found), has been great and offered me a refund. Nice guy. I'm seeing him in the next week.
So now I am looking to see if anyone is upgrading their real iPhone to a faster one.
I'm not looking for 3G, just a cool phone with WiFi. That's all I need. I'm ok with just using hotspots (until data plan prices come down). So if you got an old jailbroken and loaded iPhone or about to upgrade, I may be interested. Prices must be comparible others on cragslist. Thanks! |

No HUP for me until Sept, whatever the pricing Rogers gives me for the new unit that's how much I'm selling this iPhone3G. If it's $199.99 so be it ... $199.99 it is |

Yup... sub-$200 is what I'm looking at. Since Apple dropped their prices last week, I'd like to take advantage of the flood of older iPhones about to hit the used market. I'm still month-to-month with my plan, and likely won't go on another plan until the competition officially moves into the market. |
I might go higher. Scan through Craigslist like I did to get an idea of the market. I'm willing to pay what's fair out there, but was thinking of waiting a little as the prices are going down. |

my plan has failed :( as i just found out i will have to pay $449 for it.
*Offer 1:
Existing iPhone 3G customers with minimum tenure of 6 months since activation/last upgrade will be able to upgrade to iPhone 3GS with a $250 discount towards the no-term price.
**Offer 2:
Existing iPhone 3G customers who activated or upgraded between July 11-Sep 31 2008 and have consistently spent an average of $100 or more per month.
I got mine 3 week of october and i pay like 35$ plus tax for my service. No term 16 gig is $699 - $250 |

Do you have to send your old one back to them?
Since you bought it in October, I'm more confident about its battery life and care. If I up my offer to $250, you'd only have to pay $199. |

Sounds like what they're gonna offer me in Sept. If that's the case ... not worth it. Borrowed someone's 3GS for 6 hrs today for the real test. It's not a jaw dropping leap of upgrades to make me fork out more money.
Upgrading next year for the Dual or Quad Core ver |

Get a real phone instead of that toy. Also, an average of $100 or more per month? If any of you pay that and you can't write it off for business you should probably rethink your life
{edit} HOLY IT HAS A COMPASS geez who cares |
