My question has always been this; why is the whole megalopolis of DC up to Boston represented by a thread called New York? Why isn't it called Northeast or something along those lines?

Stop bitching about a DC page its gotten old I actually I prefer it being called New York instead of DC. DC is kinda lame and its limited on venues (Ultra Bar/Lima/Love = ) Its getting redundant that this topic seems to always surface right back up.
