Hey guys. I've been hard at work over the past few months putting together some new music, and I have one track in particular that I'd love to get some feedback on. It's a tech-house/trancey feel.
It's called "Lost Spaces" and it can be heard here:

It's on the first page of tracks.
I'd love to hear what you think.
Cheers and thank you in advance!

Man, you've got some really good music!
About this track in particular, I really like it! It's quirky and rhythmic which I dig.
I'd like the kick to stand out a little more, as well as more brightness on the leads, but that's just personal preference speaking.
Good music :) |

| Imo it's a bit too repetative. Most of your other stuff hit me better. |

Now that's some abuse of IL Gross Beat, very nicely done though!
I'd make that lead supersaw pluck in the breakdown stand out more a bit, open the filter slightly more, I'd make the arrangement a bit more lively, and kick is slightly weaker than it should be, whereas the low end is too muddy, a lot of definition lost there.
Has good potential though, I'm loving that square backsynth :) |

Hmm - I don't have Gross Beat... don't even know what it is, to tell you the truth ;) Thank you for the input guys. I'm going to have to consider some of the suggestions, apply, and see how they pan out ;) Cheers! |

I really enjoyed the musical aspect of this. I feel the mixing job could be a bit better (though maybe it's the website player that's making it sound a bit flat?)...but if not , just working on making the mix more transparent, more clear as it were.
EDIT
Just listened to some of your other tracks using itunes..it seems that there's a slight degradation in quality listening on the sites, but I imagine a second look at the mix in Lost Spaces track would help .. good tunes man |

Yeah - there is definitely a degredation on the player there. Not nearly as bad as myspace, but still not great. It's also a 128 render, because for whatever reason, the 320 won't upload (timeouts), where as a lot of the others are a much higher quality render ;)
Thanks for all the feedback guys. I've refreshed the low end of the mix a bit and I'm still working out the kick. |

| The bassline isn't really my cup of tea. Although i enjoy a lot of the sounds you've used - the glitchy parts are pretty cool. Nout much else to say really... It'd be nice to hear a higher quality sample, but it still sounds solid. Nice one :) |
