Is this song new? seems like i have heard it a 100 times before.
There is absolutely nothing interesting about these drums, just a simple loop or two on a standard 4th to the floor beat with a big clap, and layered open hats.
If anything it is how the whole track is mixed together that makes the drums sound "warm and uplifting" |

not a bad trek, except for those leads, sound kinda oldschool |

The drums are just standard. The things that make this song uplifting are the melody, the scale chosen, and the overall mixdown. The drums are standard, they are not uplifting specifically. |

That's a Daniel Kandi remix. And I'm not sure if you know this, but Daniel Kandi does all his stuff on Reason. He was probably given the remix pack by Oceanlab. All he did was remix it using sampler and his own sounds he made using Reason. |

Reason kicks ass. The key is in building combinator patches with multiple synths & effects. Then it becomes a totally new beast. Great part is the amazing sound but low cpu usage.
I usually rewire mine to samplitude and use external effects when doing a mix...but I treat reason as a Giant Soft Synth...kinda like Reaktor 5. |
