what lead synth is this?

it's a typical deep house lead for melodies. just curious on what it is, exactly. appreciate some input. and don't worry the samples are <300kb, they're quick downloads.

joris voorn - the deep (right click, "save as")

samantha james - right now (right click, "save as")

2 oscillators, 1x saw, 1x square, mixed 40/60, no attack, low decay, high sustain, medium release, highpass filter, some room / small hall reverb and 1/1 step delay on the last one, nothing special :)

you forgot analog.

Or virtual analog, or software. I've worked with analog synths for over 12 years, and even I'll admit that most of the time I probably couldn't tell the difference, at least for the past 2 or 3 years.

this was almost right on the money, the only thing it needed was about %55 slide.

porta leads are ones of the most simple and old kinds of lead, they can fit in almost any musical style, pop, rock, electronica... maybe u never worked on Roland synths, for example, they presets are full of porta leads.

I used to produce rnb and this sound was used quite a lot in that style. I agree the best way to make this sound would be to use a saw wave with glide followed by eq and modulation. should get you there quickly.
