I love drum and bass from 1991-1999 the most. LTJ Bukem is probably my favourite for the genre.

the term drum bass was not used till 1996
first hardcore breakbeat what progressed into jungle then into drum and bass 95/96

tbh why is there a dnb topic on a trance site this topic has no meaning at all to trance or i am i missing some think

Wrong,

Tthis was released in 94:

Big compilation!!!

I think the word Drum n Bass was created in 93 after hardcore disappeared and everything was goin darkside.

Drum and Bass existed in some form in '91-'93, not as an official genre, but as breakbeat/hardcore. Nevertheless ...

Here's one of the early D&B influences, from 1990.

LTJ Bukem's Logical Progression series is far more trancey than what passes for trance these days.

Heck, Oakenfold used to play d'n'b tunes in his trance sets back in the day, remember?

That was one of the CDs that got me into underground music. I was 14 when that was released. I already loved The Prodigy but that CD really got me hooked into the underground scene.

Classic CD :D
