Thievery Corporation were ok at sea of dreams on nye in sf but its def not for everyone esp at a massive :o

i'm honestly surprised to hear that the crowd was discerning enough to recognize ty music and leave...

are you sure they didn't leave because it was actually good?

I like TC. But sticking them between Halliwell & ATB probably wasn't the best idea. Blame the promoter.

I wouldn't say their music was crappy, but it isn't something that you should play at a rave. It made no sense to have TC between Halliwell and ATB.

I've seen TC a couple of times and enjoyed their sets.

Maybe if they would have been on a different stage the same night with groove armada...

you were at a rave, were you expecting the line up to have a logical order? since when do rave promoters do that?

To be fair, Thievery Corporation have some great music out but they're not a live act for a stadium like Groove Armada.

Since when is Thievery Corporation hip hop or reggae? They certainly have influences of both but I definitely wouldn't call them either.

They're one of the only acts that I'd go see at that party! :D

Ive posted this before, but they were just put at a bad timeslot. A few of their tracks were super banging.. maybe because i ate a XXX hash bar and smoked 2 blunts.
