Timo Maas track I find to be way over the top but I'm sure it's exactly the kind of stuff that Sven goes for so of course it's there...as for the Radio Slave track, I find that it is somewhat anyi-climactic...it just sort of hovers, without a real driving beat behind it like most RS productions do.
P.S. since you're a Radio Slave fan (but only shop for vinyl I assume) he also had a new track come out on OM records recently |

like i said the samples used are excellent but it goes absolutely nowhere like most rs tracks. |

i don't know why, i somehow can't do anything with kompakt or cocoon releases. i find kompakt releases often cheesy sob stuff, whereas cocoon stands for egomaniac redneck techno :p the only kompakt record i have is gas - nah und fern, and the number of cocoon records is probably around 3
(no offense to those who like kompakt or cocoon, tastes are different) |

I have the same feelings towards both labels. For example, check out the Wighomy Bros remix of Gui Boratto that just came out on Kompakt. Its really good except there's something cheesy about it that stopped me from buying it. I think its the melody.
I'm not saying I wont buy it or play it in the future but I'm kinda mehh on it right now.
Can't tell u the last time I bought a cocoon record. Subtellite I think and I only played that once. |
