View this Thread in Original format zerodecibels Hello tranceaddict users :) I am new here although i have been browsing this site for many months! i should have signed up earlier i know. I have only really started producing trance / house over the last six months although i have a fair bit of experience producing rnb and hip hop. I have been doing this for around 3 years. I recently bought a sample cd (after a lot of research on forums) called vengeance fx vol 2. Although it was ok i didn't really find it that inspiring and the sound quality wasn't really amazing either. Kind of dissapointed with it really. Is there any other sound effects sample cds out there that cater for sweeps, explosions, hits etc for use in trance house music? When i used to produce rnb i didn't really use a lot of fx. House and trance is different though. That's the way FX's are made anyway ;) psymon.d yep, and if you've got a microphone, you can create numerous fx simply by recording yourself exhaling let alone sampling random stuff and mangling with your choice of effects Cryogen Camel Alchemy is good for making FX.
