Simply put, what percentage (range) of your pay goes towards taxes?
Where I live in the states, I take home about 75% of my actual pay, adjusted for insurance costs. I am wondering how this compares to other regions, specifically Ontario and the GTA. |

| It depends on what bracket you fall into... the minimum ontario tax i believe is %6.5 if you earn under 38XXXK ... plus federal which is %15(again on the first 38k) plus CPP and EI... I'm not an accountant so maybe somebody else could better answer this. |

Personal exemption limits (federal and provincial), EI, CPP plus progressive income tax brackets make the answer a bit more detailed than a simple one liner.
Start at the CRA website and work back from there. |
