we needed a number one center and he was the best available. Two years ago, Bob tried to obtain him from Jersey after his Plan A, Briere, signed with Philadelphia. We ended up with nothing. At least this year, we got a number one player. This year's UFA market mostly offers european wingers. So the only way to obtain one was by trading.
Now I'm pretty sure that Bob will sign Kovy to play with Gomez and will try to get another top liner on the UFA such as Gaborik to complete that line.
My only other wish is for Bob to sign Tanguay. Would have also liked to see Komisarek be a habs for a another couple years, he's my favorite player but he did have an average season last year. There are enough stupid GMs outhere to overpay the guy (cauz Komisarek can sell tickets! he's american, a big hard hitter, well-spoken, good-looking etc) |

Seems we got Brian Gionta...HAHAHAHAHAH thats pequeno for ya, but hey the kid got speed, if he can avoid getting plastered, on a line with gomez and kovalev, you got the lord of the rings line with a wizard and a dworf, dunno about gomez, Brown Froddo?.Best bet would be Cammaleri on that line though, anyways we'll see i guess. Someone has to go thats for sure (koivu,kovalev?)
I'd probably go buy a devils jersey and change the sign for habs in front if they go get Elias and he doesnt have Hepatite A,B or C |
