It's a common thing for many Euros to have parts of their beard red, but not actually have red hair. It's apprently quite a complex gene spread in many nations and especially among blonde people. It's weird though because the ginger gene really isn't common at all in Mediterranean countries and yet many men have red tinges in their beards.
Perfectly illustrates how complex the human body is at the genetic level.
It also has to do with your skin too, melanin, pigment and many other variables.
EDIT - Happens in reverse too. Black beard with brown hair and so forth, though there's too many reasons to list here. Do a google search you uneducated bastards. |

It's a very sneaky affliction, there's no doubt about that. How else would it have survived through the ages except in beards? Otherwise all the ginger kids would have been killed off before they got old enough to defend themselves. |

You know gingers are meant to die out within 100 years? The gene is recessive and won't hold out.
