Is just about 100 days away, and I just found my accomodations so wanted to share with you guys as I recall some of you waiting until September then having few choices(IE Tenderloin, at not such a good rate)

Harbor Court Hotel in the Embarcadero/Ferry Building area located about 6 blocks from the parade starting point on 2nd street.

http://www.harborcourthotel.com/

4 star hotel and Hotels.com is running a 24 hour special for the dates of Friday October 2-Sunday October 4 at the rate of $96.85 for a queen room or $109.85 for a king.

Drawback of Hotels.com is you have to prepay but CAN CANCEL a few days prior to arrival date....

However as it is a KIMPTON property, you can call them (1-800-kimpton) and they will price match it, will NOT have to prepay and can cancel up until 6pm the night prior to arrival.

Rooms are 1 bed only, so this is a good bet for couples.

Stayed here last December and it was cozy and comfortable.

I heard there is a dental convention so it should be an even busier weekend than last year.

We stayed one block away last year and it was pretty nice! a little more money, i think it was $130 for a queen, but being able to go back and forth from the parade grounds was super nice! We are booking the same hotel this year for sure

pretty much anything you come up with on the web in the area in this price range will be nice.

i've been to at least a dozen, can't really complain about any of them.
