Hi guys,
This is my first forum post, I hope ppl respond! I need some help with vocals. I want my vocals to sound as good as possible but I'm fairly new to the recording process. Currently, the way I lay my vocals is I record a verse in one audio track then I record the same verse again in another audio track. I then turn down the volume on the second recording and double up the vocals at the end of each bar to accentuate my words. I use compression on my vocals but I don't use any other effects.
Does anyone have any suggestions on what I can do to make my vocals sound more solid?
Thanks :) |

It depends entirely on the track, but you are at least going to need some eq on them! |

Have a search, theres lots of techniques you can used, but experimenting the way you are is the best really. |
