yea i work the front desk at a boutique hotel. it's part time (10-3 lol).
the owner/manager loves me though and she's already talking about me being the property manager after renovations are done. it was a nice little streak of luck me finding that gig:) i'm happier than a pig in right now. and she pays me under the table for now so i can get unemployment:disbelief |

lol no not really. i get to wear flip flops and shorts. it's in great. my boss is this hippy lesbian from germany and her parents own it and put her in charge. her mom called from germany and i answered and she raved about how lucky she is to have found me and i'm doing a great job, etc... it's so funny i impress her by doing the easiest she thinks i'm wonder woman lol i'm used to a lot more workload and stress working at law firms, this is cake compared to that. the only thing i've had to learn is quickbooks which is really user friendly so i'm golden. everything is done old school style. no fancy computer programs to learn for checking people in, etc... there's only 21 units. it's mostly repeat customers with that "mom & pop" vibe.
there's a french canadian dude who rented a unit from jan-april of next year. it's costing him like 14gs to stay there:wtf: i can't believe how much money some people have. |
