in my opinion the majority of trance these days is lacking the emotion it once was...alot of songs today sound too hard with that hard bassline and just loud synth riff, or these fake ass sounding minimal percussion drum and bass over trance melodys ...they call it tech trance but imo i think its just not trance at all, just a catchy bassline or melody. these wack ass vocals and mashups and countless upon countless useless remakes of old songs which are killing the scene imo
good emotionial trance imo has gone back underground which is a good and a bad thing
good thing = knowing their are still people who put time,effort and emotion into tracks
bad thing = the cheese being supported by most dj's is just boring and giving the trance name a bad name |
