yeah, all the time - he was a regular TA, even after he made it big.
Thoroughly nice guy and was always helpful. Spoke to him on a number of occasions.
I remember someone posted a thread called something like "Hoe to get the Deadmau5 delay?" and Joel posted up his exact settings, what plugin, with samples of what he did for things like "faxing Berlin". |

No, noeone ripped him for his music at all - it was just a very small group of people kept posting loads of bull about him, like (fake) mega-diva requests when he plays and crap about him being rude to other more established people.
The situation was slightly excsaserbated by the fact he talks his mind (often without any filter) and he gave one interview in particular that was just looking for some dirt, and they took what he said and twisted out of context.
In the end he just got bored of those cvnts and he stopped posting about Nov. 2008 came back for a bit a couple of months later, but the same thing happened.
AFAIK, those peeps did out of spite and jealously. |
