| Speaking of crime, how high or low is the crime rate in The Netherlands? How many shootings, rapes, beatings, robbings, etc. are they per year? In USA, there are at least thousands... |

I know Amsterdam has a high rate of crimes involving stealing...I was told to keep my bags close by at all times when I went there or someone would likely run up and take them.
I also heard a statistic where if you buy a nice, new bike in Amsterdam it WILL be stolen in 15 days or less. This is Amsterdam though, I didn't go anywhere else in Holland. |

The underworld is very keen on keeping that place save so police will not be needed to act... |
