Wow, haven't been on TA in a long, long time.
Length: 62 minutes, 224 kbps
Genre: Prog-Psy; Full-on Psytrance
Description: This is my first dj mix in over two years. The mix starts with some nice, grooving prog-psy, gradually building in tempo and energy with several full-on psytrance tracks and finishes with three goa-influenced tracks.
Most of these have been released in the past 8 months and are some of my current favorites: "Conceived of the Rhythm" is an absolute belter. To these, I added two much older tracks, "Twisted" and "The Prayer". I have many fond memories of parties in LA where I played those two. Enjoy!

| Looks pretty good. I hated DNA's new album, so I will try to ignore that selection, but I like Electric Universe. Getting this :) |

Fair enough. On the other hand, I think the track is more DNA vs. Wizzy Noise than DNA vs. Wizzy Noise so hopefully you'll like it better than the other DNA tracks. |

I almost quit dj'ing completely. Actually, I de facto quit as I didn't touch the turntables for about 1 year: there were very few opportunities in Boston and I had enormous time commitments from research. I'll still have little time in the near future, though I'm moving to DC, so maybe things will be better there. |

| Well the research looks interesting so we'll forgive you :D Anything to do with protoplanet research is forgivable :D I almost went down the Astrophysics route too but ended up in Medical Physics instead. |

Okay thanks ;).
In spite of this long absence, I *have* been listening to Global Trance Grooves almost every single month. The June set was awesome. |

Yes, protoplanets. I'm trying to find them at the moment (telescope observing in Arizona), though it would help if we weren't getting 90% humidity at 3am and if the adaptive secondary mirror were working properly. |

| Physics and Psy-Trance fit quite well together, don't they. :D I'm still in the process of studying it though, may be I'll do something like Plasma Physics or I go into the field of regenerative energy of solar power panels or hydrogen fuel cells. :D |
