Remember that night when we got to see Ryan Elliot kill it @ Bazzaar Lounge? If you do, the man needs no introduction. If you didn't, here you go:

Hailing from Detroit, and part of the Ghostly/Spectral axis, Ryan Elliott is establishing a new techno linage. His 33-track mix Spectral Sound Vol. 1 released half-way through last year is a dark brooding monster waking up the states to the new techno sound that has been so prevalent in Europe last year. Together with friend and label-mate Matthew Dear, Ryan has been carving out a new niche for deep and twisted sounds, linking the likes of Hieroglyphic Being and James T. Cotton.

I know, I know. We've brought him once before. But he was kind of our first. And, to date, probably the best set/coolest guy we've had. We try not to double dip, but the, um, dipping is good?

This is the last CUDS party @ Bazzaar. We love you.

I will never forget the first time he came to Bazzaar. If I'm not moving that day, I WILL be up for round 2! :D

I'll try to make it out for this one. Haven't heard of the guy.

Known about this for awhile. Will be here for sure. :D

Haha, oh man that weekend is going to be nutty. I'll be there I think.

It was a fun, laid-back night. Elliot didn't impress me outrightly as I didn't think his set flowed all that well, but he did begin to pick it up at around 1:30. We got there at 12:30ish and the place was empty for the most part, but it packed in at around 1ish. The only other complaint was that it was incredibly loud, but I had my plugs in so I was alright.

Other than that, it was fun hanging around in Bazzaar. I'm gonna miss it :(

Yeah, he was kind of all over the place, but I liked the tracks he was playing more than some of the other recent DJs. I also noticed it being overly loud in there...didn't sound too great. Was a little surprised the turnout was less than usual. Regardless, I had a lot of fun at this...it really does suck that Bazzaar is closing.

I echo the two previous statements, very enjoyable night.
