probably been posted before; but when i dont listen to trance i like to listen to an asian showin how hip hop is done.

Don't listen to trance too much anymore, so it's mostly house, prog, techno, ambient, downtempo, disco both classic and new, 80's synthpop. Enjoy most music genres aside from rap, reggae, r&b, and country.... and more avant-garde genres like noise and power electronics.

Lately it's been prog rock and metal, but I can listen to pretty much anything. I've never listened to any genre exclusively and I can't understand why anyone would do so.

well of course everyone listens to everything, but it doesn't help to say that to somebody who is curious about the other directions people like going
I dont think anyone actually confines within a categore, its just that everything is default and the stuff they name is their favored stuffs at he moment

I actually know surprisingly many people that do. Some of them never understood how it was possible that I could indeed listen to metal and trance.

Some people treat different musical genres like warring political factions. If you "belong" to one, you simply can't have anything good to say about the other.

I'm rarely not listening to trance especially if I have a choice in the matter but besides Trance I listen to Prog, House, and Breaks but I don't discriminate...I'll listen to anything I think sounds good.
