I know Twitter annoys a lot of people, but I love it. Follow some music stuff like @ElectricZooNY and @residentadvisor + others. Can post on there multiple times without pissing off people (unlike Facebook). Any other NYTA's addicted to Twitter?

Twitter for me is good to hear about local events. I follow people who go out a lot and my favorite music venues. But it takes some searching and a little luck to stumble upon interesting people.
One of the downsides is a lot of people say the exact same thing on both Facebook and Twitter, which can be annoying.

If anyone follows me, I'm warning you I post a lot. So if you aren't following 100+ people, you may find me annoying.

| I'm not really to familiar with this whole "tweeting" thing. Is Twitter essentially the same thing as Facebook's homepage? |
