came here because it was spammed everywhere, and it was alright. Needs some massive work, especially the bassline. The melody seems a little thin to me as well. Good beginning, but nowhere near as good as that one guy is saying.

I don't really like trance anymore either, but I'd probably play a techier mix of this. Its quite a nice track in structure and themes but the mixing is rubbish and I don't like the embellishments or percussion. Some of it sounds like loops and some of it just sounds a bit flat. Some of the melodies don't lead where they should either IMO, like the one at 3 minutes. Too much of it sounds like samples to me I think, which is a bit of a problem.
Good track though, like I said, I'd play a remix of it. |

i think you have to change the hats they sound bad in the track.
As for the track it sounds ok but it needs more- maybe thats just me. |

to be honest that track ISNT finished ... i still wanted to do some more work on it but i got carried away with a tech trance track that im making ... which has a better melody it actually goes somewhere...

hey.. im listening now. you need better EQing. enhance each sound a bit more. make it bigger..um... I love the melody but at 1:40 you hit it into . i think your bassline is out of key..
-i dont like your kick either. changing that will help
change your bassline and add some more notes in it, there will be more going on than the usual bassline of other tracks. your melody is strong though. keep that the way it is!

Here's a thing you can do to get you're track to come a bit more alive (just something I like to do in some tracks).
If you layer some sounds (i.e bass), and have etc the layered sound filtered and eq'ed in grades to create one single new sound. Then have etc one of the sounds stereo expanded, and all of the layered top sounds stereo enchanted to give more space then you again get more energy. This applies for the bass in my opinion in this track. Also with the most new plugins these days it's not that needed to eq and so on unless you actually know how to clean up the bad frequencies and conflicts. I don't mean that you should layer it to hell and bring the volume up to make it sound MASSSIVE, since that doesnt really do any good. All I'm saying it could need more variation with the sounds as it becomes a bit static in the length.
Not saying the sounds should all have the same pattern but some of them maybe.
All I'm trying to point out like the other before me is that there is a lack of dept. Not always meaning add more elements into a track, in many cases it just means to space the sounds out more. You can use various plugins for this and some even let's you move the sounds in xyz space (not very realistic sound, yet).
I can understand that some people do appiricate tracks that are more minimalistic but even minimalistic tracks do have fill. You will eventually pick up tricks on how to do it, I'm just trying to spit in every thought I have on the track wheter people like it or not.
Hope I don't offend anyone that like the track, and you did a good job no doubt. Hey who knows, maybe in the future you may dig this piece of work up and make it into a really popular prog track! :)

Dear talented producer.
This sounds better in terms of sound quality and i like it as well.
I love how the melody creeps in on you.
With all respect It is EPIC though which can be good and bad.
You probably couldn't fit this into a progressive house set.
But I guess more people like the long breakdowns and the epicness.
The other one sounded more oldschool & underground and has this awesome driving feel.
It felt as is somebody read my mind and made the perfect track for me.
Awesomeness in the form of a trance track.
To be blunt and not trying to take anything away from this effort but I liked the other one more. LOL. I have played it 23 times in itunes.

Yes.
How good?
It is kinda good. There are a lot of tracks that sound like that.
But yes it this is a cool trance track.
Would I make a thread about it in the Music forum raving about this and throwing verbal hand grenades to anybody that dared doubt its pure awesomeness? Probably not.
You sure are very talented though! Please let me know when you make more music.
Also you should be signed. Considering how good your tracks are in comparison to most of the other out there you should be signed.
Remember don't take anything I or anybody else says too seriously just go with your gut because judging from what you are doing you probably know better. ;)

just to let you know the only samples were the percs, and even then some of them i made,
all the instruments and other sounds are just logics and reasons synths either patches then i modified them or made them from init patch...
but if they sound abit off i might have to work abit harder on making them crisp and full |
