16? Don't go by the sendspace download count. That thing is always way off. It's been like that for a while. I'm pretty sure you have way more than that. |

I just downloaded it. The mix has a catchy intro (as all your mixes do).
ill be back with a proper review. In the mean time go eat your chips and doctor pepper. You know you want your chips and doctor pepper. |

So there i am, Thursday night/Friday Morning disecting my new nikon that got messed up while i was in honolulu. i have my mac and i get the bright idea to thouroughly listen to aarons mix and give it a review. so i get the listening.
One thing ive always noticed and appreciated from Mr. Coronados work is that he always has some kind of catchy creative introduction and this mix had that quality. during the first few transitions in the mix i also took notice that the key of each track complemented eachother so tastefully that the mixing was absolutely seemless at times.
A quality sound indeed. there was a trait i have in my sound that i noticed in some of Aarons music selection and thats the "oakenfold 1999" sound. definately felt that except with a techno syncopation. ;0)
There were times when i was just like "daamn these tracks are really good." after that followed the "things seem to be dragging on" feel. Meaning that it felt a bit oblivious/repetetive. Then there was a breakbeat coming in and it took my attention captive. The set also had great diversity what with the techno and then heavy melodies.
When the end neared i got this feeling when i scream inside my head "Fuuuuucking BOOOOOOMB!!!!" it happened at the 1 hr 6 min mark. that flute is pretty sick. Also the vocals were mixed in really really well.
great set bro. i wanna hear more stuff like this! |

Thanks for taking the time to listen to it. Glad you liked it. Thanks for the kind words. You know how much i love the classic Oakie sound! Glad that influence shines through at times in the type of tracks i'm into. Thanks so much for checking this out.:D |
