I've started to run Battery 2 in Cubase 5 but everytime I try to load it I get a message saying that my physical memory is dangerously low and asks me if I want to continue loading samples. I always click yes and everything works fine after that...I also know for a fact that I'm not running out of memory because this msg comes up in brand new projects where I only have a few plug-ins running. But it's annoying b/c this message pops up every time!

So is this a compatability issue? Should I upgrade to Battery 3? Appreciate any thoughts if anyone came accoss this...

how much Ram do you have.

How much physical memory is geeting used. Are you running anything that is a memory hog in the back ground, i would try closing all programs that your not using and see if that helps you.

Upgrade to 3. Failing that contact NI support, they are really helpful!

Just to be sure, I would contact NI support first and then see if you do need to upgrade or not.

How long are the samples that you're loading into Battery?

I'm running Intel Core 2 Quad with 3GB RAM. Specs aside, I know that memory is not the issue because I get this message even when I open a blank project and just load Battery by itself. It still gives me the same memory warning.
I never had this problem when I used Battery with Cubase SX so I'm beginning to think it does have something to do with my upgrading to Cubase 5...anyways, I'll see what NI support says. Thanks for the suggestions!

This is a known issue and a bug you have to live with if using Battery 2. This error occurs when you have more than 2GB of RAM.

You can either get used to it like I have, move to Battery 3, or remove RAM and I don't think you will want to do that.
