Ziptnf - Set Archive v2.0 (pg. 2)

I'd think one of the problems with prog-psy is that it falls into the trap of being really uninteresting, or not progressing at all. Occasionally you will find tracks that you can really lay down in a set, nice and proper. I had 4 bombs in Mystic Energy, and played them at times that keep the listener engaged. Too often, people who play prog-psy have no idea when to play the cracking tracks. They'll play them early and then the energy in the set will die as it continues, and that's why a lot of people can't work prog-psy into their sets.

Also, Dynamic Reflex was actually filled with tracks that J00F had played in his sets :p

Ha I knew! As soon as I saw Human Blue!

And yes, as ever with sets, it is about progression. Do you have like 2 hour sets that start chilled (even ambient) that progress right the way to banging? I'd love to hear something like that. If not, get to it. :p

I do! Check out Flow Control for a 100-minute mix of trippy tech-psy with lots of bloops and bleeps. Starts off ambient and works its way up into some serious bidniss. I probably should have really done some more thinking on the programming of that mix rather than just the concept.

Dr. Thomas H. Foolery, M.D. is a mix with amateur breaks/hip-hop and trance. Not 2 hours, but chock full of goodness. This is the sequel to my Tefo Sifon mix.

Also, check Elemental Analysis and Universal Logic if you want some ambient or chilled out stuff. (Also, stay tuned for my next mix ;))

So I've spent some time fixing broken links by uploading my mixes to Google Docs (who knew that was a great method of storage?) and making my huge collection of mixes a little easier to navigate. On my mix files, I made sure to include the cover art like I've been doing recently. I've even uploaded mixes that I never released. Try to collect all of my work! :p

Ha weird, the year 'box' on the right floats with you as you scroll down. It's even there when you make a reply :wtf:

Crikey, Nick knows his forum code. Great work buddy. Guess I need to have a bash doing something similar with my mixes over the years.

When I can be arsed.

In the meantime I'm all over this conveniently indexed music of yours.

Gee, so it must not be very easy to download my mixes when all the mixes are marked Private in my GDocs! /facepalm

I have updated the mixes to be public on the web. Now the masses can hear the musics of mine.

Also, I'm not sure if this always shows up like this, but if you click on some of the links it will say:

The file exceeds the maximum size that we scan. Download anyway

Download it anyway! I wouldn't give you a virus! ...or would I? :p

I've made 50 mixes in a little over 3 and a half years! 2 and a half days worth of music. Go me! :D
