Yeah, it was a big one: 7.8 in the richter scale. There was a Tsunami alert, but it was canceled at about 1am this morning. I think there were some evacuations in Sydney, but yeah, nothing to worry about now it seems. |

| Started a part time job insulating houses. My first ing job yesterday was insulating a tiny ass attic. It got to about 82 degrees that day so it was over 100 in that attic. My boss got heat exhaustion up there he was in bad shape. We were up there from 10am to 6pm it was a bitch. |

Nah, I'm too far away. The quake was just off the bottom end of New Zealand's south island, and I'm all the way up in Brisbane (Australia). |

| The only reason I hate the heat here is when I have to empty all the outside trash cans at work. The soupy contents of hundreds of tossed away drinks has then coagulated into a putrid, disgusting, mess. |
