PS - they did hit occupancy very early...and as noted above only people with tables or those that knew the people at the door firsthand got in after 11pm - that's just how it is at 'hollywood' clubs. I'll agree the door situation is very different from you most on here are used to... if you go in the future just please make sure you get there by 10pm...
i wish those that showed up had gotten in that didn't....glad to hear King King worked out well for you guys. |

| One of the best clubs I have been to in LA... I went last Thursday it was crap music but the best crowd and very nice club I must say. There door was strict but not as strict as some of the other Hollywood clubs.. Overall a winner and please stop comparing this place to Avalon and Vanguard.... Its more like Cameo and Mansion!! |

i doubt i'll give it another try, not gonna support clubs like that, sorry, just not my type of club. i know where i feel comfortable and that is where i'll continue to go and support. besides, doesn't make sense for me to go since i'm not really into commercial house.
i like giant, have supported them many times at vanguard and in the OC, but since this is a different type of venue from that with a different philosophy then i'll just stick to what i love :) |

im glad i missed the opening night...cause i would of been bummed to get there after 11 and not got in smoothly..and just like everyone else – i would of had my panties in a bunch.
but in anycase, i have to applaud giant for a packed Friday opening. I plan on checkin it out. Hey, I hope they do really well and more and more edm oriented clubs will open. I like to have options…so the more edm options we have is a good thing, no?
mucho props and I look forward to checkin it out.

Lol I was partying with the one in blue on Thursday night at the same place. They are clubheads but pretty nice |
