Hi guys, recently I've been some problems in with I call sound engine initialization.
If I left my JP-8000 about 2 days turned off, I turn it on and the sound will took about 1 minute to full operation, until this I get very low volume with noises, pops, clicks...
I'm afraid if my JP-8000 is going out because in the past it took only about 10 seconds for the right sounding initialize (what is normal)...
So, can anyone help me?

thanks
palm

cristianokeller

ask roland, its likely the battery as palm suggested.
mysticalninja
update?
cristianokeller
No, is not an os update problem... And seems to be not a battery problem too... well I'm very sad. Roland service center in my city is not that good...
palm
how can it seems not to be a battery problem? have u checked or do u just assume? try change it!
cristianokeller
well it seems, I'll check this also.
but, theres a guy in the JP-8000 Yahoo group that said to me his JP-8000 have the same problem, his checked the battery and it's full.

I had a "idea", I'll not check, I'll replace the battery :disbelief

tks for the help guys, next week I'll verify this

With MIDI. Look in your JP80x0 manual, it will tell you which MIDI CC numbers control which JP80x0 functions. I'm sure the Ableton manual will tell you how to automate CC messages.
