His latest productions are a bit 'generic' and not really outstanding.. Tho it's not complete . :p

Just another generic track without anything interesting... I wonder why producers think that a Trance track needs a long break down? No spark of creativity, nothing driving. With one word: BORING!
Trance-MB
It's garbage, but if you really think this is the worst trance track ever you haven't heard much I guess.
Sand Leaper
It can ALWAYS get worse.
Igaryok
If you think that's the worst trance song ever then you obviously haven't listened to trance.
gd_nimrod
I havent posted in over a year, but i felt the need to log in and just say, as much as Colontonio brings absolutely nothing fresh to the trance scene and is as recycled as DJ Sammy is to Scooter, that is by far NOT the worst track ever.
You need to have a few years of actually listening to real trance under your belt before you can make such a statement.
PS - Trance Voices 67 is out. You would like it.
Nik Novo
Well the track is awfully generic but there is far worse stuff out there.

I never understood that either. Mostly it's totally useless and I say most breakdowns are there because they "have to be there" (aka 08/15 trance formula)

No, Anthem is. I didn't even watch the video you posted and I can say that with 90% certainty.
Yep.
R!CH
it's certainly a finalist for the worst title... "serious truth"???? how many jars of paint did he sniff to come up with that?
Zombie0915
what I find interesting about the formula is that while it is present in many of the memorable tunes, the livesets from the time didnt have a bearkdown every 10 minutes, many tunes filled between the epic breakdowns just had some thumping and the kick dropping out for just a couple bars or something. Lots of the less memorable trancers seemed little more than some drumb, warbling bass, and a synth honking in an interesting pattern and repeating.
That seems to be what is missing, we take all our favorite old tracks and plop them one after another and it sucks, we need those less memorable but fun synth honker repeatotrancers in order to give meaning to the breakdowns, and when the breakdown does eventually come, its gotta be something a bit more interesting than this nonsense.

this is totally true. though i dont agree with a lot of those tracks being forgetable... building a set properly does require a certain amount of consistent tracks. since i've started playing live sets, i've been trying to find more and more tracks with little or no break to make up for the songs with the "epic" buildups and such.
one track i'm loving that has a buildup but has a 4/4 kick all the way through (no pause) and is awesome, is Mat Zo - This is Reality.
