Sat being a tribute to michael jackson

i dont recommend it...unless youre a big MJ fan...then itll probably, maybe, be fun

JP is not my style music but i find myself often with my friends who love him.

We have our yearly RI gig on the 1st Sorry....you cant have him!

But come to Therapy!!!! :) Its not a HORRIBLE drive...but youd have to be a big JP fan to want to come in from Canada to NYC then drive to providence hahahaha

you are quickly becoming the most annoying tourist ever to enter this forum. DO SOME OF THE WORK YOURSELF!!! ie: I already posted a map for randall's island aka electric zoo for you. Why dont you google the address of your hotel and see the comparison!

There is always a distance chart at the bottom of the maps, you can easily figure it out from that.....or are you not capable??

jonathan peter's brings out the guido/f*cked up crowd. Pacha is decent but, I dont love it. Unfortunately its really the only big room left in the city. Go on a night thats not overly-packed (ie: armin, etc...) or get VIP and its good (not great). A lot of newbs like the go-go dancers in the showers on the 3rd floor. LOL:D

your coming this weekend? if so its not 100% that they will be open at all, and i know jp was supposed to be spinning i would deff keep checkin the messageboard for more info

as for jp, last time i seen him was back in 06 for his classics party and he was really good, but that was classics as for his regular sets i havent heard him in a while he could be on point for all i know and bang it out
but the people that go to his parties to me is somewhere between a cockaroach and that white stuff that acumulates at the corner of your mouth when your really thirsty

Nice!

I didn't start my own thread but I just booked Aug 20th to Aug 25th. Invited to a wedding Sat Aug 22nd. =)

Hopefully some good dj's will pop up while I'm there....

...I can stay with friends in the city, but a cheap/decent hotel in the city would be a nice treat.

Where do I go for the hookup? (promise to return the favor if you need anything in LA or Vegas!)

...just did a lil search. The 6 Columbus hotel looks really nice for $130 a night...There is a Thompson Hotel in Beverly Hills with a very nice rooftop pool.

Proper etiquette:

1. say THANK you when people go out of their way to answer their questions and look up maps, info for them

2. Ask legitimate questions that may not be answered by simple internet searches (ie: you can look up weather and directions). Questions based on the opinion of locals are fine.

3. Use the info that people have ALREADY provided you (ie: MAPS/LINKS) to **HELP** with your search. Ignoring info that people have already given you is not going to make people want to help you more.

For example: If someone gives you a link to a site, READ whats on the site and use it, dont come on the forums and ask "what does it say?" The point of people helping you, is to give starter info in which you use your own analyses and goals for a trip, to make your own conclusions and decisions on whats best for YOU.

Follow the above rules and no one will get annoyed by your constant questionning!

Sincerely,

LIZ
