Yeah tourism is still down in Rosarito, all the clubs were pretty empty the whole weekend...people still cautious to head down to Mexico...maybe another year or 2 and it'll get crackin again...i hope. at least we didn't have to sit at the boarder trying to get back to the US for 2 hours like usual...it only took us 30 minutes to get back to the states. But other than that Rosarito was a fun place...we talked to some of the locals and they said the violence was between their gangs and la policia only messed with you if you broke a law so they can get some money from you. But other than that just don't be stupid and start over there and don't wonder down any dark streets by yourself...duh... basically common sense.

Tourism isn't just down, its DEAD.

You and I alike only spent 30 mins to cross back the border. This is UNHEARD of for a weekend. Especially around summer time like right now.

I was just in Rosarito this past week, it was pretty bad. No one walking the streets not that much traffic this was during the day on a weekend. So i can only imagine how dead it was at night. Its a shame because so many people are hurting down there. Its the regular people that are strugging, while the rich upper class is doing just fine.

I hope that Mex will get back on its feet soon, but in 2 years i highly doubt it. Now you need a passport, you have all kinds of violence and even worse you have the stigma of both combined. Rosarito will never be as popping as it was before. Most of the people that went to party were under 21. How many people you know under the age of 21 have a passport? Not many...
