for starters, in one year cube guys made more hits than calderone in all his career. check beatport for fun.

secundo, beach club decided to not book calderone following complaints last year... a daytime beach club is not an afterhours.

LOL

ok buddy, you can be full in swing for supporting it but dont lecture me, please

lol if your judging who made more hits therefore they are the better DJ you are an idiot and apologize in advanced, dont even compare the cube guys to calderone....please

i go see a DJ for how they spin, the type of music they play, the flow, etc etc not for how many noobs bought their elecro house tracks on beatport

all im saying is that last yrs lineup for me personally was better, everybody knows its going to be a wild ass party with more girls then ever, and thats great, if i was going only for the party (if i was single) i would be the first one there shaking my ass to cube guys cause i would be drunk and surrounded by girls, and i could handle all the electro fart sounds all day (by the cube guys)

Hey whoever organized this event and was in charge for the lineup is a genius and I would prob do the same lineup if I was in charge, its a great House lineup that caters to the mainstream crowd, surely the market they are targeting

and there is nothing wrong with that

i know calderone is a good dj and i never said i didn't like him, i was right behind the booth with eric el when he played at bal en blanc this year, quite enjoyable to see him have fun :)

i just reacted to the comment, like it was a catastrophy: how do you go from calderone to the cube guys ?

the cube guys achived great things in last years and they are really quite an act to see and hear... don't know that many house djs that never played at least one of their tracks, so, yes they are great producers and as for djing the team work is really fun to see. They keep the energy up and bring that underground feel, progressive sound, tribally beats, always sexy and happy music. Always makes sick parties.

So why not book them ?

some people book the same djs over and over again, why not try something new ? maybe people will like it... in the cube guys case they did.

thank god for victor that montreal is still on the map, best crowd ever for him for sure. but ain't it a bit narrow minded to thrash everything else in order to say victor is good ? especially when the artists you trash achived more in different aspects ? i find it lame of you guys. But hey it's TA wtv !!!

bringing new flavor to the city is thumbs up for me.....regardless who and what they play

my comment: "How do you go from Victor to Cube Guys" was not aimed at cheap-shoting the cube guys in any way....my comment meant that how do you go from booking one of the biggest acts/names in the industry to one thats not so well known (they might be kings of electro or house or wtv, but they are nowhere near known internationally as DJs like Victor)

BC wanted to try and book a few smaller djs so they can add more to the lineup, thats fine

I've heard of the cube guys 2 years ago, cause they were from italy....i checked out a few tracks, really really not for me....i checked out their myspace last night, for my tastes they have gotten worse

like i said, i would have booked the cube guys myself if i was running the show at BC so i understand the logics behind the booking....

if BC would have gotten like Roger Sanchez or something, a respected and well known DJ, i prob would have gone
dancefloor69
book David Guetta :)
