Paul Jackson's 'Souls' first surfaced back in 2006 with mixes from Paul and the extremely talented Oliver Koletzki. Fast forward to the here and now and the 2009 mixes brings us remixes from Gusgus, Analog People In A Digital World and of course an update from Paul himself.
Already causing quite a stir with the likes of Laurent Garnier and Anthony Pappa this package looks set to do some serious damage over the summer. Gusgus take us on a bouncy acid induced techno trip with President Bongo himself bigging up Paul Jackson throughout the track. Analog People In A Digital World take us on another trippy journey and if you like the likes of Nathan Fake and James Holden this remix will certainly appeal, using the key elements from the original with a ridiculously groovy bassline. Finally Paul provides his own 2009 Version Excursion which drops the tempo and beefs up the drums and really provides a truly alternative style that could work in the main room, the back room or slap bang in the middle of a downtempo set.
