| Is anyone going to this tonight? I just RSVPed cause I've never been to a resolute party and it seems pretty ridiculous... damn near 24 hours of no doubt debauchery. Im just wondering if any TA's will be attending. |

| Im 50/50 right now....RSVP'd, but still up in the air. I know they are doing some type of fashion show at 2am on the boat, so not sure when its gonna get bumpin |

reSOLUTE parties are always ridiculous, and this one should be even more ridiculous with being Nektarios's birthday and all. If you've never been to one, this is the one to check out.
I'm in, not sure yet at what time I'll be going, though. Would be nice to meet you :) |

The boat will stay docked anyway, so it will be safe :)

Yeah I definitely would have liked to met up last night. But I have no clue how I would have found you in that mob of wobbly... people? lol.
That was definitely the most back alley, underground, 'exclusive' party i've ever been to. I'm not gonna lie. From the RSVP, which before they gave me the link asked how i knew about the party, to the hour long wait in front of some pita shop on bushwick ave just to get inside a van that would take us to the secret location, to the back alley behind some warehouse, and finally to the boat. jeeeeeeezus. the anticipation was killing me.
Finally we got onto the boat which I have to say was really really REALLY cool. There were 3 floors of the boat with the upper deck being a place to chill and cool out. I'm pretty sure I saw some kids sitting on top of the mast, too. Which must have been sweet. The front and back bows were also areas with tables where people could chill and smoke or whatever. Inside the main floor was bumping for as long as I was there. Interesting characters were shaking it up to the dark, groovy, minimal beats of the DJs. Then there were some stairs going down below the bar area where there was a second DJ gettin it on. I think the event info said 10 ppl were spinning plus 2 special guests. I had no clue who was spinning where or when or even who they were, all I know is that was crack all night long.
I think we arrived around 1:30 and were on the boat by 2:30-3. We left at around 5:30, the music, my sobriety, and the smell was starting to get to me. I gotta say, the water we were on really smelled, like sewage, you know, that rotten egg smell. I went back inside at one point to escape that stench and was hit with massive body odor. Lol... Oh well I guess. All I have to say is that I wish I had found these resolute parties before I got clean, cause I bet its really REALLY fun. I thought it was just really fun, and nuts, and insane.
Now, being that this party goes from 10pm last night to 9pm tonight, and reentry is allowed, I'm thinking about going back for seconds.

personally im the biggest fan of dancing to minimal...i can tolerate it if im just chilling. But i just don't get it when im out, trying to get my two step on.
Ravi you said it...the smell lol..enuf said.
But this was deff the most cracked out underground i have been to. So many lines and waiting. It was an experience.

Holy ! What a great party.
Got to the Pita place @ around 2:30, waited in line for a while while having some beers, made friends with some ppl in line and found some very good party favours before I got to the party, LOL. Got to the boat @ around 4 am, and it was packed with all sorts of characters that really enhanced the whole experience of it for me, as for the stench, I just got used to it after a while and stopped smelling it, except when I had to go to the bathroom. The girls' was just disgusting! I considered going to the men's at some point because it wasn't half as bad, but I gave up and used the girls' anyway. The music was great, I couldn't manage to stay in the main room to dance though, I was all over the place talking to all sorts of ppl. Left the party @ around 10 am, thinking of going back after I took a shower, but once I got home and showered, I ordered chinese and after eating, passed out immediately.
We'll meet some other time, Ravi! :)
I spent ALL my money, and I don't regret it, had an awesome time, and can't wait to do it all over again in September. :crazy:
Now, to work tomorrow so I can feed myself this week :p |
