When Hooters first came around our area my parents had no clue what it was. My Dad is a minister of a church and all he saw on the sign was "steak, chicken, and seafood," so we went in to try it out. I was only about 13 years old but I still knew what hooters meant so I went in with a big grin on my face. My mom's face was priceless that day when our waitress came up to our table with the classic white tank and running shorts.
We actually stayed and ate. Still one of the worst cheesesteak subs I have ever eaten. My parents played it off like the food was awful, which it is, to never go back there instead of the attire. |
