Tiesto Announces New Single & Tour Dates

Tiësto joins forces with Australian electro pop-stars Sneaky Sound System for the new single, ‘I Will Be Here’. This original Tiësto production is set to debut on the air in the UK, this Friday, July 17th on Pete Tong’s Essential Selection on BBC’s Radio 1 and will be released on July 28th, 2009 on Ultra Records.

In celebration of the release of the new single, Sneaky Sound System will join Calvin Harris as support for Tiësto’s massive Victoria Park headlining concert on July 31st, a first for any DJ to play this large scale London concert site on their own. The single is in line with the recent remixes Tiësto has been doing with artists such as Bloc Party, Yeah Yeah Yeahs and Calvin Harris.

When asked about the new song, Tiësto said, “After hearing Miss Connie's vocals I immediately wanted to work with her and the band. The song is uplifting, while being a bit haunting at the same time. I like songs that are inspirational and make you think. At the same time, it’s a great dance track with some epic builds and breaks and is going off at the shows every night, which is the most important thing to me.”

While juggling his record breaking Ibiza residency, a grueling summer tour schedule and putting the finishing touches to his career defining new album, Tiësto is also planning the launch of an 18 month World Tour. North America will be the kickoff, with more dates around the world to be announced soon. Tickets go on sale for North America starting July 24th.

I really don't have time for complete ass hats anymore and I'm not talking about tiesto.

If it was really cheap, and it fit my schedule I'd probably go see Tiesto again just for the hell of it. That likely won't happen though! lol

any word on ticket price?

Arrow Hall is huge. If Daft Punk had trouble filling it, I can't see Tiesto doing it either.

if it's around 30 bucks, I'd go, since I haven't see Tiesto yet and any trance addict gotta see Tiesto at least once, just to say you've done it

Well, since there is still three months to go I don't think tickets have even been designed yet. I wouldn't expect anything less then $50.00 for early birds.

I think tiesto has a bigger following in North America then Daft Punk does but I still don't think he can sell out Arrow Hall.

I can't believe you haven't seen Tiesto....no sense in seeing him now....better off going to Europe and seeing him as part of a festival there....thats the only place you will catch me seeing him again.
