I decided to post few pics & vids from my recent trip to Netherlands. For those of you planning to visit Holland in the future during summertime, there are two huge events worth checking out: Sensation White & Dance Valley.
This year, Sensation White celebrated its 10th edition in Hollands' famous Amsterdam Arena. For the first time, Sensation White was held on 2 consecutive days; friday 3rd of july & sat the 4th. From what i heard, both days were sold out (40,000people per-night). The event is just massive!. It sells out every year, regardless of what the lineup is. (as Sensation evolved over the years, there aren't many trance djs' playing at the event anymore...)However, I think it is still one of the greatest indoor events out there.
Another event held this year in Holland on July 11th was Dance Valley. Its a huge outdoor festival on the outskirts of Amsterdam. This festival runs from noon till 11pm, it has over 10 different stages with over 170djs' to choose from. There's plenty of food to choose from and lots of Heineken bars. About 60,000 people visit DV every year. For this 15th edition of DV there was an actual "A State of Trance" stage that hosted Armin van Buuren, Gareth Emery, DJ Remy, Glenn Morrison & Markus Schulz. I also saw Marco V, Eddie Halliwell & Ferry Cosrten on the main stage. Getting to the event was very easy, as there were buses taking people from the train station (5Euro for round trip)
(as for the currency issue, lets just say, the US Dollar is not worth much in Holland. The best rate i could find around Amsterdam was for 100 USD = 69.50 Euro)

thanks marcin! have you ever done the vip ticket for sensation? i was checking out the packages recently and didn't really know if they were worth while...i want to go next year ;)

Nice videos! I went to Sensation White Zurich in May and it was amazing. Production value will blow you away. Tocadisco and Fedde put on great sets. i just wish they lined at least one trance dj.

i have never done vip. "vip" does not really mean much in Holland. usually you only get a special entrance to an elevated podium, with "better" views of the stage, etc...
personally, i don't think its worth the extra money. you're better off using that money for drinks/beer/food at the event.
They have a really good payment system in the arena. When you enter the event, you buy these arena-cards (20,30,50euro). when u're buying food/or drinks you slip these cards into these "credit-card type" machines and it automatically deducts the total from your card.
