| do your friends dig trance as much as you? not all of my friends listen to trance as much as I do. the one's who aren't TA's ask me how I can listen to trance outside the clubz or what ever...I simply tell them, "dude, if you gotta ask, then you wouldn't understand,man." what about yo peeps???? |

yepz same deal with me too! i got a number of friends who listen to tranc and various other forms of electronic music but none of them get as hyped up as much as i do. hehe. you know you'r in LOVE wih the music when songs give you chillz or make you just wanna bounce around the room!! all my friends can do is bob their heads up and down or tap their foot and tell me afterwards "that's a hype tune bri" hehe.

Hey!
I got a best friend who is totally into trance like me... He's me wingman and like i said my best friend. Im really lucky with that.
I have 2 or 3 other real friends.. who are kinda into trance. More the mainstream and here and there a good taste in live-sets.. They do go with us to partys though..
and than some "friends" who arent real friends.. They like other music better...(lol no they are not good friends cause they dont listen to trance ;-) |

where i live, electronic isn't big at all. everybody is into top 40, alternative, and hip hop. and im certainly not making any effort to teach, as id rather keep this area of texas strictly underground. :)

| yeah, i'm from texas too. austin has really been growing as far as electronica goes. d:fuse ( austin dj ), is starting to put austin on da map. around here you can't find good trance at too many places, i like it like that...peace in the middle east (that's an old one,huh?) |

i would have to say that i have about 8 or so friends that dig trance and go to parties with me and then the rest of them are just ignorant. it seems like they have something extremely against it.
here's a little story to show you how ignorant they are...
one night, we all went to a club for one of my buddies birthday. the club played everything from house to general dance music. miraculously at one part of the night they started to play some older trance tracks, like rank 1 - airwave, hypertrophy - pullover and the notorious darude - sandstorm. every single one of them went ape !! i've never seen them get up and dance like that b4 in my life. i found this ridiculously funny considering they all swear that they hate the and will never listen to it.
, why can't people be more open minded and stop listening to the bad press that trance and parties have and try it for themselves?!?! |

| yeahhh i totally agree with you ruffryda. i hate how the media ONLY covers the negative stuff that happens at parties. it's retarded cause 99.99% of people that attend these events are the nicest people you'll ever meet! and then some idiot from the 0.01% category ODs and s up the event for everybody else. the media is on it in an instant and the club is given a bad reputation. grrr...pisses the out of me. don't judge raves dammit until you go to one! mannn...it's disgusting. hehe. that's my rant for the day. :) |
