Last time Anthony was at Circus, his set was amazing also. Too bad they had just remodeled the place and put that huge VIP area right in front of the DJ...so you either had to dance within 3 feet of the front speakers or way back on the floor.
Anyway, that's been fixed now, so this should be a great night. I would compare Anthony Pappa's sound favorably to that of John Digweed! ...deep, intoxicating rhythms that will likely give you an out of body experience even without drugs, or add them for extra effect... :) ...and if the dance floor becomes the "ice cave" that it was a few weeks ago, I'm gonna hit up Malia and Trin for hand warmers and then ask them to turn the AC down (although the number of people wearing sweaters and sweatshirts on the dance floor in the middle of summer is also a clue)! ;) |
