Keep em coming I'm writing these down!

Burak you know I'm comin back to try the Salmon Shish, when are you gonna be there next week? Sam you need to go to Buttercup asap - better than crumbs imo (although Crumbs is excellent too). Kelly, def agree about the Baldouni, it does a number on the stomach but holy crap if it's not worth it! Mel you gotta fill us in with some of your fav places, def a fan of Indian food too! Eddie, I really really wanna try WD-50 (just can't afford it), big fan of Wylie Dufresne - glad to hear it's good food! +1 for the Shake Shack too btw, mmmmmm

last time there was 2003, but Olives, by Todd English was very good, and the service was top notch...

I consulted my husband on this one so in agreement-

Momofuku Ko, we have gone for dinner and really want to go for the lunch

Daniel, we really love it there

Lupa, their pasta is amazing and the veal saltimboca is perfect

Morimoto, no reason needed

Sushi Samba, love everything they have, especially the sake

How was it There? Loved his show on the mojo network, "Daniel Afterhours", one of the top, if not theeeee best chefs in the world, IMO

It is so amazing. They always start us with a tier of amuse bouche, the menu is prix fixe but if you ever want anything, they are always helpful. My husband is in love with the fois gras with an apricot sauce but it has been off the menu for a while and they still make it for him. When you are having dessert, they bring you warm madelines or a plate of petit fours, the last times they brought us both. When we went for his birthday, the three course prix fixe ended up being seven courses with the fois gras, cheese course, and a birthday dessert on top of the two you already get. In a nutshell, they spoil you good. My husband has a huge appetite but I don't eat the entire day we go and the whole week is very light. If you ever have anything to celebrate, you must go and tell them when you make the reservation, remind them when they confirm it the day before. We have been to Per Se and a lot of other foodie places but to just enjoy yourself in a non foodie pretension cloud, Daniel is the best.

That's Daniel Boulud's place right? Have def heard he's one of THE best chefs around. I'd really like to get over there and also try out Bar Boulud in the meantime since I hear that's excellent as well.

Bar Boulud was kind of blah. It was over priced for what it is. There are a lot better wine bars in NY. He just opened a place downtown that is supposed to be really good but I forgot the name.

I know most of you don't venture into Staten Italy but if you ever do my favorite cafe is Royal Crown on Hylan Blvd by the Oldtown train station.

Im sure the rest of the SITAs can vouch for me on this one. It may be mafia run but you can't beat their prices and portions as well as the best pizza i've ever had over here.

My boyfriend and I had a GREAT experience at Tabla recently. One of our best outings in the city thus far.

(indian themed....there you go MELS!!!! (They call it "nouvelle-haute-indian" cuisine because its definitely a top-rated-pricier place)

Amazinggggggg food, great service and and impeccable view....looks right over Madison Square park with this 2-story glass wall, but you also get a view of the downstairs dining, as there is this circular terrance-thing that they seat you around. There is also outdoor seating under these huge arches. The place is very visually pleasing!

amazing place to take a date......very romantic and dim lit. Young, professional and trendy crowd.

Scrumdiliumschious!

My boyfriend and I are fat asses so we went on an Indian Buffet bonanza! The one by sullivan room absolutely sucks balls. Don't be fooled! When we went to see vic there for his bday my eyes lit up - went the next day and the buffet was horrible. Masala = tomato sauce. straight up tomato sauce!

my fav Indian Buffet is Tandoor in Queens Blvd. We went 3 weeks in a row and had something different each time. It's never the same. Plus their mint chutney is the best! INDIANNN FOOOOOD I LOVE YOOOOU

Brooklyn Ppl - 3rd ave and 74 street is Taj Mahal. I love it there! We always do take out :)
