well it would be nice to go somewhere new as I haven't been outside of NYC much since I've moved.

Definitely a good night.
I was first a little worried because there was not a lot of people in the main room during the warm-up (really good imo) but it was better when Tom arrived. He gave us a good performance but John Askew totally destroyed Club Love with a balanced mix of techy and uplfiting trance.
Somebody made a tracklist for this night?

Had a blast.
This is probably my first trance party since Victors Bday party @ Sully room :wtf: Been a damn long time - that's for sure! (April or so)
Got there for Franks last song apparently.. stayed in the main room the whole night. Till closing!
I had a great time.
Askew is a bit too hard for my taste - his first hour was just bonkers. I much preferred him at the end.
Thomas Datt - Mass Effect [heathcliff & whatever that crappy remix is] Askew mixed out before the cheesy part.
He then played Ronski Speed - Aural Slave [Thomas Datt remix] I was dancing my tushie off to that one cuz I looove my Ronski and I looove my baby!
His encore was Prodigy - Voodoo People. In-fuking-sane! \o/
He played a few of his that I recognized Bored of Me/You and some other things I can't fully ID. Been outta the scene for a wee bit.
.... Now it's time to get ready for Sunday Best and enjoy my first weekend out - since school finally finished!!!!! :D:D
edit - oo yeah I didn't see ANYONE. It was pitch black in there. I only saw G, Molly and Jay at the very end cuz it had cleared out a bit! |
