| It looks like a good option for beginners but I'd rather just man-up and buy the audio4. That way I can use it for production too with the outputs AND inputs. |

| I'm more partial to timecode, but for anybody that works with MIDI controllers this is a big deal. Something that always turned me off about the VCI-100 was that I couldn't find a soundcard for it that I liked. This is the perfect option especially if a bundle comes along. |

Got Crack?
The NI soundcards are no where near even Apoggee's entry level offering (Duet) in terms of quality, and are certainly no where near as stable.
It's just a decent quality soundcard made to work with proprietary software but certainly not in the league of professional grade studio equipment. |

Have you seen the size of this thing though, it's about the length and width of an Ipod but about a deck and half deep in cards.
If you can even imagine that haha.. |

If you had watched the video you would have noticed it's much smaller.

Correct. As with everything from NI, you have a 40% chance of never experiencing an issue with it. They are not the most stable soundcards but for the price they are good (entry level). |
