Post some music. (pg. 2)

I post a lot of my tracks on the producers promotion thread but receive little feedback. Maybe because I stink, I don't know. I'm not signed to a label, and all my friends don't understand progressive music so it's kind of hard to get good honest feedback.

Hell no! I mentioned this on another forum the other day and I'm not sure if you saw the comment, but I think your track "Voyager" is excellent! I've listened to it at work several times over the last few days.

There are a lot of regulars to this production forum, and a lot of people talk, but ive not seen any of the regulars post music in the promotion forum. So post some stuff you have done, or are currently working on here. Id like to see what some of these dudes who talk alot produce.

You already know where to find my stuff, go to tindeck and search cronodevir. Most of it is unfinished work, but hey, that's how I roll. ;)

Only persons here whos music Ive heard was RichieV and Cryophonik.

That's not true - You've heard music I've worked on (and paid for the privilige) ;)

I don't really see the point of posting music here unless it;s to discuss specific production techniques and get feedback. If you want to producers to post their music, then that really should be posted in the music promotion section (and it could do with more content and feedback).

What of yours did I hear DJ RANN?

@Waza, www.tindeck.com is a good place, but only if your music is CC, soundcloud is another spot, not sure of the soundcloud TOS though.

There already kinda is a forum for producers who want/need feedback?

You'll have to realize aside from maybe 4 or 5 producers on this forum who are active AND give loads of feedback people here are very selfish. They play the if you don't comment my I won't comment your game. It's the same way in the dj forum, you listen to other people's mixes they listen to yours. It's dumb considering the people posting the best stuff should theoretically be the one's that have the least amount of time as they are constantly working on putting out new mixes/tracks. Musicians aren't very logical:)

Just post more stuff and eventually people will start to give feedback, whether good or bad. Also bump your threads non stop if you aren't getting any comments. It feels lame but i'm sure you're here to improve and make music, not be cool;)

Thanks for the kind words man, yea I would love to find a vocalist but right now I wouldn't know where or how to start. Craigslist would be my best guess, but with lack of funds and studio recording equipment, its kind of discouraging. I mean, I don't want to invite a person over and record their vocals in my shower (for acoustic purposes) and be like thanks, I would pay you, but lets hope this song gets signed first. hahah. I guess that's one of the worst and most ghetto scenarios but we'll see.

If you guys want to do a thread of this sort...in the Production forum for the regulars contributors to share their latest builds of whatever they are messing with, lets have a proper thread with a proper op and purpose for it.
