Les Lye just about played every adult man on "You Can't Do That on Television". I grew up with that show. I watched Alanis on that show when she was a nobody. I lived in Ottawa for 6 years, and Les and the cast of the show were well known fixtures in the city.
Rest in peace funnyman. You were great, and will never forget the smiles and kid chuckles you gave me growing up.
