| $199 upgrade from Logic 8. I'll probably wait a few months until they iron out all the .0 bugs, but it looks like the new FlexTime will be a huge improvement in audio editing. |

Man, I'm sold. It's got everything I was missing before and replaced some plugs as well.
I don't think I can wait till the bug fixes. |

Eric J has got a good point about the bugs, etc. May be a wise move to wait. |

wish it had been a bit longer from a selfish point of view for the update, but the new audio manipulating looks very nice...will wait a bit, but I'm sure when I'm tinkering with vocals I'll get an itch to pay 200 more |

Oh Yes!
At first glance I was disappointed as it seemed all the stuff was for guitar lovers, but the new features such as audio quantize(at last!) and the varispeed look awesome. Tempo import will also save me SO much time with working on remixes.
I think a lot of these, especially the time related ones, have filtered down from Pro tools 8 (such as the elastic time function which was a huge improvement over 7).
Craziest thing I can see is being able to convert an audio region to sampler track (softsampler).....daft punk style audio triggering.....:D
....but I'm with Eric on this one and will wait until the bugs a out. |

Upgrade from Express 8 to full 9 seems to be 299,- I win! :D
or maybe i should just upgrade to 9 express? thats almost free |
