There aren't many left... only about 14% of the population I think, and pretty much all in Tashkent. Most of her friends she grew up with that were Russian moved back to the motherland or to other countries too. |

haha... after visiting that place a couple of times, so am I. But they have some pretty hardcore rules in place which prevent many of them from leaving. I think most would if they could. If you are a single woman with no children, you can forget moving out of the country.... period. And, unless you're going to Russia or Kazahkstan (or strangely, Malaysia), forget about even visiting other countries. Veronika tried many times to study abroad or get a visa to travel to Europe and elsewhere, and she'd get laughed at by embassy workers. |
